This rose doily is an original design.  It has received 1st place and Best of Division in the 2004 San Diego County Fair.  It was also entered in the 2003 Los Angeles County Fair where it won 1st place and Judges Choice. The thread is Anchor size 80.
This small rose doily is a companion for the one above.  It is actually the first one I designed, but due to time and excessive puckering, I stopped at the inside colored ring.  It won 1st at the 2003 Orange County Fair and 3rd at the 2004 California State Fair.  The thread is Anchor size 80.
This is a shuttle name tag I made to wear for guild meetings and demonstrations. The thread is Manuella size 20.

This is a sachet that I originally made for a design challenge from my lace guild. We were given the sachet and told to decorate it. The members of my guild insisted that I enter it in competition. I suppose they were right; it won 1st Place at the 2002 Orange County (California) Fair and the 2002 Los Angeles County Fair and won 2nd Place at the 2003 California State Fair.  The thread is DMC size 80.
This frog and lily scene was originally created as a theme entry for the 2002 Orange County (California) Fair (the theme was "Leap Into The Fair"). It placed 3rd in the "Fair Theme, Clothing and Textiles, Other" class. I later entered it in the Palmetto Tatters First Annual Juried Competition, where it received a Blue Ribbon and a Special Judge's Choice Award for "Most Creative".  I also entered it in the 2003 California State Fair, where it won 5th place.  The threads used are Flora or Manuella Size 20.
